The Details
Perceived as stuffy and stale, the New York Philharmonic was losing relevance
and needed to reposition itself as the world's most dynamic orchestra. Newly
infused with vitality to broaden its appeal, the 2009–2010 Season opened up
with a fresh and colorful campaign designed to introduce its updated program
and young new Maestro, Alan Gilbert.
